Scholarships Program CSC-KUT for International Students in Japan
Scholarships Program, The Kochi University of Technology will offer the CSC-KUT Scholarship Program for the academic years 2023-2024 with the intention of rewarding the talent of Japanese students.
The Kochi University of Technology and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) created this award solely for Chinese students or staff pursuing a doctoral or PhD at KUT. The winners of the scholarship will, depending on the program they select, receive exemptions from entrance and tuition fees, a scholarship of 50,000 yen per month to cover living expenses, and a scholarship of 150,000 yen to cover travel and initial living costs.
In the Asian University Rankings 2023, the Kochi University of Technology, a prefectural university in Tosa Yamada, Japan, is ranked 551-600. The university’s first president, Professor Yasuharu Suematsu, established it in 1997 with the goal of producing scholars with broad knowledge and extensive and practical skills.

Admission Requirements:
The applicants must hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution or hold a degree from an accredited institution in China comparable to the master’s degree offered at KUT.
Language Requirement:
The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:

IELTS – 5.5 to 6.0
CET-6 certificate
